Our systems monitor the registry and attempt to register domains the moment they become available. While the service is used primarily for private acquisitions, we occasionally accept backorder requests for selected domains.
What we do
When a .UK domain expires and is released by the registry, multiple parties attempt to register it simultaneously. Aleta Systems specialises in acquiring these domains on behalf of our clients.
We acquire expiring .UK domain names at the moment they are released by the registry.
Clients can submit backorders for domains they wish to acquire when they expire.
Our service is operated privately and access is limited to a small number of partners and clients.

Terms & Conditions
Aleta Systems provides a service that attempts to register expired .UK domain names when they are released by the registry.
By placing a backorder with us, you agree to the following terms. If we successfully register a .UK domain name on your behalf, you will also be subject to the Nominet domain name policies.
- We reserve the right to decline any order placed with us.
- Backorders are processed manually on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Placing a backorder does not guarantee successful registration.
- If a domain is successfully registered, it will be registered for a minimum term of one year.
- We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions without notice.
Payment
- Invoices must be paid within seven (7) days.
- Domain names will remain registered to Aleta Systems and will not be transferred until payment has been received in full.
- If payment is not received, the domain may be deleted, retained by us, or sold to a third party.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with the service you have received, please email us. We will review your complaint and respond within five (5) working days. If you remain dissatisfied with our response, we will advise you on how to escalate your complaint.
Abuse
If you believe you are experiencing abuse from any of our systems, please email us with as much detail as possible, including IP address logs, domain names, and timestamps. We will investigate and respond within five (5) working days.
